We are delighted to welcome you to our esteemed institution, Adhyapak Vidyalaya Ekhatpur, established by the Nivrutti Seva Sangh, Ekhatpur, in 1959. Our college is committed to nurturing future educators and empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of education.

A Glorious History

Adhyapak Vidyalaya Ekhatpur was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mr. Madhukarrao Choudhari, the Minister of Education from the State Government of Maharashtra. Since its inception, our institution has been dedicated to providing quality education to aspiring teachers.

Our Visionary Founder

The driving force behind our institution, Mr. Sadhashiv Nivrutti Chandane, was not only a visionary educator but also a notable freedom fighter in India. Following India’s independence, he devoted his life to the cause of rural education, understanding the significance of empowering communities through knowledge and skills.

With the grand objective of promoting education in rural areas, Mr. Chandane laid the foundation of Nivrutti Seva Sangh in 1959. This organization has been pivotal in providing quality technical education, with a specialized focus on agriculture—a subject of immense importance in our rural landscape.

Pioneering Agricultural Education

Our founder is renowned as the “father of pomegranate cultivation” in the Sangola tehsil of the Solapur district. Under his guidance, the organization initially focused on generating self-employment opportunities for local communities, fostering economic independence and prosperity.

It is noteworthy that our institution received invaluable support from the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who provided crucial financial assistance in the form of a subsidy. This highlights the significant impact our college has had on the community and the enduring legacy of our founder’s commitment to education.

Our Commitment

At Nivrutti Seva Sangh Ekhatpur Sanchalit Junior College of Education, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide quality education, cultivate leadership, and inspire the next generation of educators. We invite you to join us on this journey of learning and growth.
